About this Model
This model requires 60 small rectangular sheets -- 2 x 1 rectangles. There are 30 units total, but each unit is made from 2 of the rectangular sheets -- one sheet for the base of the unit and one for its face. To get the full effect of the Coloration design, use double-sided paper. UserComments

I like to decorate this type of kusudama with beads, which I sew through the finished model. Two types of needle are helpful for this -- a big-eye beading needle and a long doll needle. Sometimes I use thread to sew on the beads, other times I use ribbon, twine, or rattail, depending on the size of the beads. Occasionally, I like to add a tassel. |
